One of my favorite
writers is Megan Maxwell, a Spanish writer born in Nuremberg (Germany) in the
year 1965.
Her writing mainly focuses on the romantic genre,
especially on the subgenre “chick lit”. She has influences from American romantic
authors like Rachel Gibson, Susan Elizabeth or Julie Garwood.
The first book that she published was called “It was
just a silly kiss”, on the year 2010. Even though it had not the same success
as her later work, this was the novel that started her career as a writer.
The first book I read from her was “Ask me anything
you want”, this book is mainly about a love story between a girl and a
multimillionaire business man. Though the story may have been a little cliché
at times, what definitely caught me was her writing style and the way she told
these stories. From the humor and simplicity of the story, to the ability of
making you feel related to the protagonist and its problems, she made her way
into my list of favorite writers pretty quick.

The content of her books is very good
